Am still confined to house but on my way home finally. Expecting some clean up to do. #
House is fine. Lost some food in the fridge. Lots of mopping. Propane malfunction, sprayed in eye. I'm OK. Now keeping an eye on "Gaston". #

Power has been restored to 85% of the island. My town is still without. PC keeping us at safe house until more is known about "Fiona". #

Amazing show last night around 3:30AM. Things have calmed down some today but flooding and downed trees might keep us here another night. #
Staying one more night at the safe house. No weather but the roads are not passable and there is no power in most of the country. #

No Internet now. Wind, enuf for kites. Coming from opposite direction id expect-into the storm. #
All is well. At the safe house. Have internet for the time being. The weather is a little worse, not even close to bad though. #
Rain has increased. So has the wind. It's only 3:30 but it looks like late evening. #
The strong weather comes in waves. Each one is a little stronger and longer lasting. #
The wind is picking up now. Radar shows the edge is just a few miles away. We're getting to the brunt. Dinner was so so. Company was great. #
Earl is Cat 2 now but this hotel is rock solid. Can't tell anything is happening from inside. A dove has taken shelter on the balcony. #
Think we're at the closest right now. VERY windy. VERY glad I'm indoors. Imagine a giant eggbeater – replace the cake batter with lightning. #
Going to get some sleep. #
